In her words

People can just take a photo — a family photo, a Christmas photo, anything — and literally turn it into an explicit image or video… it could happen to literally anyone who puts their image online.

Biography

Paris Hilton (born 1981) converted 2000s tabloid celebrity into a durable business empire: 11:11 Media, the company she co-founded in 2021, spans podcasts, television, products and a venture portfolio of more than twenty startup investments concentrated in web3, gaming and AI. Axios reported the company booked $20 million in brand sponsorships in a single quarter of 2024.

Licensing, cloning and investing

Hilton was in the first wave of Meta’s celebrity AI characters in September 2023, licensing her likeness for “Amber,” a detective-partner persona for solving whodunnits, alongside Kendall Jenner’s Billie. Her company president Bruce Gersh told Variety in 2024 that 11:11 planned to use AI to monetize Hilton’s likeness and voice — “very, very cautious[ly],” with partners “that are going to protect Paris.” By October 2025 she told The Information she had spent years training an AI chatbot on her interviews, writing and songs that knows her “sometimes even better than I know myself,” and an AI version of her appeared in a Tan Luxe ad campaign.

Fighting the abuse, not the technology

Hilton pairs the commercial embrace with aggressive anti-abuse advocacy. In 2026 her 11:11 Media released “Searching for Mr. Deepfakes,” a TikTok true-crime docuseries with journalist Laurie Segall tracking the anonymous owner of a nonconsensual AI porn site, and she joined Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez in campaigning against AI-generated explicit imagery. She frames the two positions as one: consensual, protected licensing is business; nonconsensual synthesis is a crime to be exposed and punished.
