Kaitlyn “Amouranth” Siragusa (born 1993) parlayed cosplay streaming into one of Twitch’s largest followings — more than six million — and an empire of side businesses she discusses with unusual financial candor. Where most streamers treated AI clones as a threat, she treated her own likeness as licensable inventory.

In May 2023 she partnered with Forever Voices to launch AI Amouranth, a paid voice chatbot trained on her streams and videos that flirts with fans in a synthetic version of her own voice — one of the first cases of a major creator officially licensing herself to an AI companion service. Reporting on the venture said the companion cleared roughly $34,000 in its first twenty-four hours of sales, with average users spending over $20 and around forty percent of chatters not even following her Twitch channel — evidence, she argued, that the product reached lonely customers rather than cannibalizing her audience.

Critics called the bot creepy and warned it would deepen parasocial attachment, but Siragusa rejected the loneliness charge outright, casting AI girlfriends as relief for isolated people rather than a cause of isolation. Her calculation is also defensive: unauthorized clones and deepfakes of women streamers were already proliferating — she was among the creators caught up in the 2023 Twitch deepfake scandal’s fallout — and an official, revenue-generating AI is one way to compete with the bootlegs.
