Khloé Kardashian

Khloé Kardashian (born 1984 in Los Angeles) rose to fame on Keeping Up with the Kardashians, co-founded the size-inclusive denim label Good American in 2016, and stars in Hulu’s The Kardashians. In 2025 she added an interview podcast, Khloé in Wonder Land, to the family media portfolio.

“It’s not them, it’s AI”

On a February 2026 episode of her podcast, Kardashian explained why the technology unsettles her. Fans have circulated AI-generated videos of her late father, Robert Kardashian — who died in 2003 — kissing her on the forehead; well-meant or not, she called the clips “weird” and said they freak her out. Synthetic media has also invaded her day-to-day family life: she described seeing videos of her sisters, including Kim Kardashian, so convincing that she has to text them to ask, “Wait, did you really say this?” — and said that when she is suspicious enough to ask, the clip is fake nine times out of ten.

There is an irony her critics were quick to note: Kardashian has spent a decade fielding accusations of heavy photo retouching, and in December 2025 viewers speculated that a scene in The Kardashians itself looked AI-generated — claims she has not addressed directly. Her stated objection is narrower than the tools themselves: it is impersonation, the resurrection of the dead, and no longer being able to trust footage of her own family.
