Those that embrace it and learn how to augment what they’re doing with it… will actually go a lot farther with it.
Biography
Matt Wolfe is a San Diego–based YouTuber, entrepreneur, and investor who became one of the most-watched chroniclers of the generative-AI boom. He runs FutureTools.io, a curated directory of AI products, and co-hosts The Next Wave Podcast. His channel tracks the near-daily churn of new models and apps with hands-on demos aimed at a general audience.
AI as a superpower
Wolfe’s framing is relentlessly optimistic. He describes himself as someone who struggled for years as a creator until AI tools arrived and added, in his words, “superpowers to my arsenal,” augmenting rather than replacing his work. His advice to fellow creators is to adopt the tools early: those who learn to augment what they do, he argues, will go further than those who resist.
That build-and-embrace posture places him firmly in the pro-AI camp, alongside other creator-economy evangelists. His value to viewers is less argument than curation — surfacing and testing tools faster than most people can track them — which also makes him a barometer for hype cycles as much as a guide through them.
