QTCinderella
Streamer & Events Organizer
Twitch streamer and creator of The Streamer Awards who became the most visible victim of the 2023 deepfake-porn scandal — vowing on stream to sue the site’s creator and becoming a leading voice against nonconsensual AI imagery.
In her words
This is what it looks like to feel violated. This is what it looks like to feel taken advantage of. This is what it looks like to see yourself naked against your will, being spread all over the internet.
You feel so violated… I was sexually assaulted as a child, and it was the same feeling.
Biography
QTCinderella (Blaire, born 1994) built her Twitch channel on baking, game shows, and event production, founding The Streamer Awards in 2022 and producing tentpole creator events like ShitCamp. In January 2023 she was thrust into the center of the AI debate when fellow streamer Atrioc was caught on stream with a paid deepfake-porn site open in a browser tab — a site selling fabricated explicit videos of her and other women streamers.
Facing the deepfake economy
She responded with a raw livestream on January 30, 2023, showing viewers what the harm looked like in real time and promising, “with every part of my soul,” to sue the site’s creator. The clip became the defining testimony of the scandal. Weeks later she told NBC News the pursuit had hit a wall: “Every single lawyer I’ve talked to essentially have come to the conclusion that we don’t have a case; there’s no way to sue the guy” — a gap in U.S. law that she said left victims “swimming upstream with a harpoon already in you.”
Though the website itself was taken down after public pressure, QTCinderella described lasting harm — body dysmorphia, resurfaced trauma, and strangers sending her the images — and framed her advocacy around the next generation: “I hope that in 10 years when my nieces are more on the internet, she doesn’t have to deal with something like this.” Her case became a fixture in press coverage and policy arguments for laws criminalizing nonconsensual AI imagery, years before statutes like the TAKE IT DOWN Act reached the books.
