StableRonaldo
Streamer
The high-energy Fortnite streamer and ex-FaZe member declared himself “an AI artist” in a viral 2025 post telling people who learn and make art to “just quit” because “AI is the FUTURE.”
In his words
People Who spend their time learning ART and Creating ART should just quit. AI is the FUTURE and is phenomenal! … I’m an AI artist!
Biography
Rani Netz (b. 2003, Cherry Hill, New Jersey), known online as StableRonaldo or simply “Ron,” is an American Twitch streamer and former competitive Fortnite player. He placed at the 2019 Fortnite World Cup, joined NRG and then FaZe Clan in June 2022, and built a large following on high-energy variety streams before departing FaZe in December 2025 to go independent.
“I’m an AI artist!”
In March 2025, riding the viral Studio Ghibli image trend from OpenAI’s new image generator, Netz posted a deliberately provocative declaration on X that racked up more than eleven million views: he was “loving new AI,” thought people who learn and make art should quit, and pronounced himself an AI artist. The post drew a wave of angry replies from artists, and it fits a broader pattern of pro-AI streamer takes that same season — echoing Asmongold and xQc, who used their platforms to defend AI-generated images against the “slop” backlash.
Whether the wording is sincere conviction or calculated rage-bait — Netz trades heavily in provocation — the position he broadcast to millions is unambiguously pro-AI. He has continued to feature AI content on stream, reacting with delight to Sora 2 video edits of himself during his late-2025 subathon rather than treating the clones as a threat.
