300 versions of a body that was not hers
Lohrli began receiving unsettling messages from viewers after a run of ads circulated showing her in a bra and underwear; she had been fully clothed in the film itself. When she contacted the app distributing it, she was told there were some 300 variations of the ad in circulation — a scale that makes takedown requests close to meaningless.

Her response was structural rather than rhetorical. Lohrli now insists on contract language protecting her likeness from AI manipulation, and reports that she has worked with several producers since without a single one objecting — the most encouraging fact in this entire cluster of stories, given how often performers assume such a request would cost them the job. Vertical actors, including Tess Dinerstein, Faith Orta, and David Eves, have been urging each other on social media to do the same.
